Please follow the link: Gallery View: 2025 Renewable Resource Project Grant Application (mt.gov) and vote for this project. Higher votes mean better scoring to receive grant funds to alleviate customer rate increases. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
The Sun Prairie Village County Water and Sewer District in Cascade County is soliciting proposals for engineering services to assist the District in preparing a water system Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) and potentially a combined Capital Improvements Plan (CIP). The District’s water system was constructed in the mid 1970s; the original construction and subsequent updates/additions are exhibiting signs of age and wear. Various updates, replacements, and rehabilitations are needed.
The selected engineer will prepare a PER utilizing the most current edition of the “Uniform Preliminary Engineering Report for Montana Public Facility Projects” outline. The District will use the PER as part of its funding application to state and federal funding agencies. The District reserves the option to utilize the selected engineering consultant to prepare a combined CIP.
Once funding for the proposed project has been identified and approved, the District may, at its option, utilize the selected engineer for design, bidding, and construction phase services for the implemented project(s), and for CIP preparation.
The District may select the consultant based on an evaluation of the written proposals or select several finalists to be interviewed. Award will be made to the most qualified offeror whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the District, all factors considered. Unsuccessful offerors will be notified as soon as possible.
Six copies of the proposal must be received (not postmarked) by the Sun Prairie Village County Water and Sewer District, 1047 Grant Drive, Great Falls, MT 59404 by 4:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time, September 12, 2023.
The complete version of the Request For Proposals can be obtained by contacting Janet Fulmer, District Manager (406) 965-3944 or [email protected].
